Vigneaux Technicians Become AAADM Certified Inspectors
Vigneaux Corporation is now a member company of the American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers or AAADM. AAADM provides a Certification Training Program for installers and service technicians as a way to improve safety as well as to promote the technologies available from AAADM member companies.
Vigneaux technicians have completed the Certification Training Program and are able to professionally certify commercial automated storefront and low energy (ADA) pedestrian power assisted doors with the ANSI/BHMA 156.10 Standard for Power Operated Pedestrian Doors.
The ANSI/BHMA 156.10 Standard for Power Operated Pedestrian Doors was developed by the Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association. The standard addresses swinging, sliding, and folding power operated pedestrian doors which open automatically when approached by users or by a knowing act. The standard contains provisions, including performance tests and dimensional requirements, that are intended to reduce the chance of injury to users.
